The municipality of Lanuza, through the leadership of Hon. Mayor Salvacion S. Azarcon, will be spearheading an activity that will encourage Lanuzanhons, who are now successfully living in other countries, to go back to their beloved hometown. The activity, to be held before the feast day of Saint Anthony de Padua on June 13, 2012, is dubbed as “Balik Lanuza 2012” with a theme of “Balik Sa Yutang Natawhan, Pakig Abi-abi Ug Pakighimamat Sa Imong Kagikan”. With this event, ties and friendship will hopefully be renewed and deepened.
LANUZA RECEIVES P1.7 MILLION FOR PASSING

The municipality of Lanuza received P1,700,000.00 for passing the Seal of Good Housekeeping (SGH) Awards initiated by the Deparment of the Interior and Local Government (DILG). Lanuza is one of the forty 4th to 6th calss municipalities in Caraga Region which passed the SGH Awards of the DILG for Calendar Year 2011.
LANUZA HOLDS BUSINESS ONE STOP SHOP by Noel L. Arreza | Feb. 6, 2012
In line with the Streamlining of Business Permits and Licensing Systems (BPLS), the Municipality of Lanuza established a Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) on January 16-20, 2021 at the municipal entrance. The activity was done in compliance with the mandate of RA No. 9485, otherwise known as the Anti Red Tape Act (ARTA) of 2007, which mandates all government units to provide efficient delivery of services to the public by reducing bureaucratic red tape and preventing graft and corruption.
