In the absence of hotels and lodging houses, Lanuza opted to adopt the Bed and Breakfast strategy or otherwise known as Homestay Program to cater the needs of guests and visitors, and likewise to provide opportunity for the residents whose houses have vacant rooms to earn another source of living.
In cooperation with the Department of Tourism, Caraga Regional Office, the LGU under the Municipal Tourism Office usually conducts seminar workshops with identified house owners to prepare them how to set-up rooms, comfort rooms, good manners and right conduct (GMRC) and other personal dispositions. |
